We are in search of dynamic, thoughtful and relationally-focussed Account Executives to join our team in the position of Senior Advisor, ESG. This specialised, outbound SaaS sales and advisory role is a unique opportunity to combine your SaaS sales skills and ESG knowledge to provide customers with market-leading ESG risk and compliance solutions and be a trusted advisor on their ESG journey.

Your role: Senior Advisor, ESG
You will identify, facilitate and guide prospects through their current and anticipated obligations, and demonstrate the value and capabilities of Fair Supply’s SaaS solution. One minute you could be speaking to the modern slavery risks within manufacturing supply chains, the next about the challenges in Scope 3 measurement. This will require you to be nimble, adaptable and responsive.
You’ll be a critical member of the Sales and GTM teams and be responsible for actively growing Fair Supply’s customer base, increasing New Logo acquisition and Annual Recurring Revenue within your defined territory. You’ll be working with major Australian companies and helping them work more effectively with their supply chain and investment risk data to further their ESG compliance and goals.
Whether you’re an experienced sales professional or hungry for the challenge, if you have a strong working knowledge of current ESG issues including governance and compliance regulations and frameworks (or know you have the ability to acquire that knowledge rapidly), and love diving into beautiful and rich tech, we’re keen to hear from you.
The advisory aspect of this role requires combining technical knowledge with a hunger for the sale and a passion for partnering in a meaningful way with customers to ensure they achieve their goals. You’ll be comfortable with learning our platform inside out, getting across underlying methodology, understanding prospect needs and developing a compelling narrative to clearly communicate, and demonstrate in real-time, the value of Fair Supply’s award-winning solution. You’ll thrive in working toward monthly, quarterly and annual goals, knowing they are also helping make a significant impact to people and our planet.

What you’ll do:

Actively target new business opportunities, mainly across Australia and ASX300 to begin with, but also internationally in time - in your defined territoryActive lead generation including direct prospecting and approach to new business opportunities
- Respond to and nurture inbound leads from MQL to product demoKeep your lead pipeline full and leads moving through to demo and closeInitiate and build relationships with risk/ESG managers, procurement managers, General Counsel and Sustainability Managers
- Demonstrate our SaaS solution to prospects with a consultative sales approach to identify needs across modern slavery, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and biodiversity
- Consistently and systematically follow up prospects after initial conversations
- Prepare documents including proposal for services, request for data and contracts
- Provide ongoing relationship management to your portfolio of clients
- Engage with customers after onboarding to assist with adoption and gaining real value and impact from the platform.
- Build relationships and identify cross-sell opportunities, and hand over to the Customer Success team for ongoing support
- Methodically and meticulously update sales CRM (Salesforce.com) to grow the business and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensure visibility over your pipeline for planning and reporting
- Work with the internal marketing & communications team to develop lead generation and nurturing campaigns
- Proactive opportunity creation including conferences, networking events and using out-of-the-box thinking to generate new leadsMeet company and individual KPIs, market objectives & sales targets
- Engage with the Fair Supply product, content and strategy teams on particular projects as required
- Actively track and remain across ESG legislation globally, including implications for companies and new business opportunities
