FAQs

What do I need to provide to complete an assessment?

In addition to spend amounts, we require the names of your suppliers, their locations (country only), their ABN, the primary industry in which they operate and your classification.

How can I integrate Fair Supply’s data with our existing procurement, investment and supply chain management systems for data collection and analysis?

Fair Supply’s API ensures effortless integration of Fair Supply’s data in your existing procurement and supply chain management systems.

Can I generate reports and analytics to track our organisation’s progress in addressing ESG risks and meeting compliance goals?

Fair Supply’s platform enables you to track your progress in addressing ESG risks and meeting compliance goals. We graphically reflect your progress over time allowing you to easily compare previous assessments. Your assessment results can be used to assist in reporting.

How do you collect and aggregate GHG emissions data from different sources?

Fair Supply provides visibility over Scope 3 GHG emissions along your supply chain thanks to our Integrated Assessment Engine (IAE). The backbone of our IAE is a multi-region input output (MRIO) supply chain database built out of several hundred data sources. The emissions data source is primarily based on The Potsdam Institute for Climate Change’s PRIMAP database and the EDGAR emissions database. Developed by recognised global authority on environmental and social footprinting, Associate Professor Arne Geschke, Fair Supply’s co-founder and CTO, our Integrated Assessment Engine is capable of assessing approximately 40 billion supply chains, represented in more than 1.8 billion monetary transaction values and price-layering information. It draws information from more than 200 economic source datasets for more than 200 industry sectors in more than 200 countries, and utilises state-of-the-art methods to assess the supply chain impacts. The methodology is well-established, especially for environmental problems and within academia.
